I had a Sanyo DP50842 for around a year which denied my manufacture warranty and somebody lost the receipt, I tiled the floor in the living room and moved the tv onto the kitchen counter for about a week and never used it. When i finished the floor i placed the tv back onto the entertainment center and plug it in. I had sound but could only see the picture if i shined a flashlight onto the screen, so i was told to replace the backlight control module, so i did and it worked but i cracked the screen trying to get to the backlight module. Over time the crack in the screen gets to you, so i took it apart and now i have a 24" tube tv.
