For your consideration is this Antique Upper Hanley Elgar Semi-Porcelain Flow Blue Covered Vegetable Serving Dish From England Description: This antique dish is approximately 6" tall with the lid on. And approximately 11" wide including the handles. The base of the dish is approximately 5" in diameter. The bottom of the dish bears the stamp"Upper Hanley Semi-Porcelain Elgar Pottery England" CONDITION: This antique dish is in good condition with no major chips or cracks from use. There is one very small flake on or near the edge of the lid. It is hard to see because I almost missed it after looking over the dish repeatedly(shown in pic) There is also on the interior of the dish just beneath the rim(see photograph below) a little split or defect that occurred when the piece was made. It is not damage from being used. ... moreIt is just on the surface of the inside and does not go through to the outside. As stated it is a very minor defect. There is also some minor age related spotting to the bottom interior of the bowl. Most of the gold outlining on the piece is in great condition but there are a few spots with a little fading.
