Based on the history of the unit it had some problems in the output so the front panel display board was pulled to put in another unit. It is missing the display. Selling One Functional HP 6612 0-20V. 0-2A Power Supply. No power or communication cords are provided. System was tested by comparing voltages and currents to a HP34401A DMM. Syst em p owered up. Passed self-test, and passed the check out procedure in the manual(open circuit and closed circuit test) HPIB communication was tested by connecting the power supply to a Windows computer running VEE Pro 6.0. The computer via HPIB was able to communicate with the PS. A set point of 6 V was sent to the power supply, and the power supply meter noted 6V on the screen. ISSUES: 1) The front plastic cover of the unit is cracked on the right side. One has to be careful removing the test leads. 2) The manufacture and model number is missing from the front cover. I believe this was an internal test unit at HP. The system was identified by connecting it to ... morethe VEE Pro 6.0 program via HPIB. The program loaded in drivers for a 6612. Also. The unit matched the specifications of a 6612 power supply. Exterior is a bit scuffed up. S/N: US37463473.
