I have operated the unit in both ranges and have concluded the output is fine. It produces accurate voltage and frequency ranges from 150hz to 2Khz. I have loaded the unit with a 150 watt load and it produces 1.1 amps of current at 120 Vac. The fans are good and strong. This is an old warhorse that is in surprisingly nice shape. I believe it can be used in GPIB mode if the rotary keyed switch is replaced. The part is available from the manufacturer P/N 100-884-000. I opened the top cover and the unit looks new inside.
