Boonton 9200 Dual Channel Power Meter
This is another piece of test equipment I acquired when our test department closed 10 years ago. It’s received occasional use. This is the dual channel model with both sensors. I can’t test the IEEE-488 interface but I have no reason to think it doesn’t work. The included(2) 50 ohm adapters are rated for 600 MHz. Other adapters included are(1) 75 ohm. 1) 93 ohm, 2) unterminated adapters and(1) point probe with ground clip. I will ship international but the shipping cost is much higher and varies by country. The circuit boards look to be in excellent condition. The unit is missing the tilt bail and the factory rubber feet. The unit comes with an AC power cord and user manual on DVD. The unit does not come with a power sensor. All LED segments are good and the unit passes the operational tests from Section 2-13 of the user manual. I have compared test readings on this unit with my shop 4220 unit. Using a 6E power sensor. There is about 0.25 db difference between the 50 Mhz calibrator signals of the two units. Also included are the 95109001A adapter and a 5ft sensor cable with a 2-pin data interface. All in excellent condition. Tested. Boonton 4531 note: You may notice that the front panel has two sensor inputs. But 4531 is a single channel power meter. The manufacturer probably decided to have a common front plate for the 4531 and 4532 meters. On the 4531 power meter only CH1 is active. And the power meter has only a Channel 1 menu. Calibration note: When a Boonton RF sensor with a 2-pin data interface is used with a Boonton power meter with a 10-pin data interface. The memory inside the 95109001A ... moreadapter is used to store calibration data for that sensor. Our 95109001A adapter includes the correct calibration data for the SN 29223 sensor.
