Vintage pair of Bell's System Buckingham Lineman/Logging pole climbing gear. It comes with spurs with pads. Climbing gaffs, leather waist belt/utility belt(UND Lab INC. Classified) number 21x38(numbers on belt) good condition. Inspect the photos please. Climbing boots steel toe size 10, Bell System B leather pouches, strain clamp(Kearney) cable line tuning fork and original canvas leather bag. This is a very nice heavy duty lineman/logging. Climbing gear. It is ready to be used. The boots and in good condition, there are some scarfs on the boots of course but plenty of life left. The bag is dirty because used for storing the equipment. Plastic on inside of rope loops it crackd on each loop. Stitching is intact. Rope has some ware/light surface fraying from use. Hook is in fair condition. Metal has no cracks. Belt is not sized. It is L shaped and measures 8" x 8" on the outsides and 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" on the insides. It is a very thick and durable leather piece that has the purpose of holding a climbing spike in place. I have made thousands of dollars trimming trees with this belt although I believe this was made for electrical pole climbing. But works just fine for tree climbing as well. Klein Lineman Tree Pole Climbing Safety Equipment Strap
Offered is a Klein lineman tree pole climbing safety strap in good condition. Shows signs of light wear. Clip springs are strong and move freely. Please note that originally that both clips have the double safety feature where you use both thumb and index finger to open. But on one clip the thumb part of the safety feature has been disabled. Please see the disabled clip on the left side of the third pic and right side of the last pic. Note the disable part is on the same clip and it's the clip on the riveted end of the strap. This listing is for one climbing utility belt with lanyard strap. Manufactured by Klien-Buhrke on 4-74. Everything looks good does have a little stiffness. There are to leather flanges one has a button. The flange on other side does not have a button, not sure if it is suppose to be like this. There is nothing for the button to snap to. These flanges are at bottom of belt. see last two photos) Everything looks secure and good. All stitching in tack and no cuts or tears. There is some paint splatters and other soiling. I know nothing about these items. I do not know how they are used. My cousin is a tree trimmer and he said they are good and can be used. He could not use them he said this belt is used for poles.
