This is a workhorse that has cut thousands of decals over the years and is still quite capable of cutting many more as long as(A. you know how to use it and(2. have a computer that has a parallel printer port. First off. It's old. Maybe 20 years or more? It only has a parallel port on the back and includes parallel and power cables. It has a 45 degree blade in it and the most recent cutting strip is still in good condition. It uses pinch and grit rollers and has no guides so tracking must be checked before every cut. I've made cuts longer than 8 feet with it but I really wouldn't recommend anything over 4 feet at slow speed without risking the vinyl getting bunched up in the machine. The included vinyl roller should be screwed down behind it, completely parallel to the ... moreplotter for optimal tracking. The plotter has rubber feet on the bottom and does not include a stand. The only software I've ever used for it is Ioline Control Center. Which is available for free from Ioline's web site. The manual can be found there as well. It does not include anything else. You will need your own vector graphics program such as Illustrator, CorelDraw or Inkscape to create HPGL based.plt files for it to cut. I used it almost daily for the past 8 years but do not know its history before that. Signs. I've cut it all with this plotter. The release lever has been broken for a long time and a simple piece of thick backstrap was bolted on in its place. Works great and easy to fix. Have never found a replacement lever for it. The front surface where the vinyl gets cut off of the roll is well worn from many razor blade cuts. I repainted this surface and it looks nice in pictures but it is very scratched underneath. It doesn't affect anything. I

I did connect it to a computer and plotted to it using Flexisign Pro software just before disassembly. It worked just like it should. And I weeded the vinyl and it cut perfectly without any setting changes. It was maintained while in use. There are a few extra blades, blade holder, platen cutting strips, software for older computers, cord for connection to computer, power cord, and key for software use Design Art. Unless you have an older computer, this software will not work on newer computers. You should be able to use any type of software that sends data to a plotter.
