I have cut up to 3/4" thick mild steel in a CNC environment with this torch with great results using 80 Amp consumables and pierce/feed rate settings recommended by Hypertherm. I removed the factory gear track as seen in the photos so it could be mounted to my plasma Z-Axis without interference. But this does not effect the use of the torch in any way. Gear track can be replaced cheaply at your option if needed, however the torch will be sold as shown without the track. Reason for selling upgraded to a bigger plasma. I have cut 1/2" thick material with this Powermax 45 at 20 ipm. There is a picture of a sample piece cut out of 1/2" This machine works great. Machine torch has a 25' lead and the same for the hand torch. This is $2,600 worth of equipment.
