For sale is a Reed 5301PD in refurbished condition. This machine is VERY similar to the Ridgid 300 T2 machine. In my honest opinion the Reed may be a little stronger. The casing has strong ribbing a very solid frame. The top of the threader is flat and is designed to be a tool tray directly on top of the machine instead of adding an accessory. The stand also seems a little stronger. The hinges at the tool tray fold in a different way and seem very nice and strong. The edges of the tool tray have a nice lip to keep your tools in place. All motor parts. Carriage parts, chuck parts are exactly the same as a Ridgid T2 This machine is used but has been completely gone through and is in great shape! This power drive is in GREAT CONDITION. The machine has been completely taken apart/stripped and refurbished. For sale is a Ridgid 300 T2 pipe threader. The machine does have marks throughout and the paint is chipping(see pictures) We have decided to list this machine as is in order to give someone a chance at a perfect working machine with some cosmetic defects at a lower price. There are a few new parts(see below) This machine is in PERFECT working condition. Front and rear centering chucks are both tight and spin very smooth. All jaws are in terrific condition. The drive shaft is clean with good chrome and the casing is strong with no cracks. New warning plate& nameplate. The motor is in perfect working condition. We replaced the field& brushes a few weeks ago and have only used the machine once or twice since. The brush caps and the wiring have all been replaced recently as well. The machine has been taken apart completely all surfaces have been de-greased in an automatic parts washer. And blasted then repainted/ holes re-tapped and machine reassembled/ tested. Motor is completely refurbished with new wiring. Bearings and a few parts. Wiring is used but n great condition and correct. Not dry or brittle. Not frayed anywhere.
