Switch box for 9 pin Female serial. Can also be used for video CGA VGA ports. Atari and Commodore joysticks, mice, trackballs, paddles, and tablets that use the 9 pin connector. How I used it, for an example would be to power the computer off, switch on(usually port#1 on a Commodore) between my mouse and paddle or joystick. This way you can keep two joysticks attached without constantly plugging and unplugging stuff, which besides a hassle, takes a chance of frying the 6526 chip. The other handy thing is if you are developing video hardware. It allows you to switch between monitors easily. 3 attachment posts are loose. The nuts backed off, you can open up the box, and reattach the small(non locking) nut. I rarely bothered on these boxes unless I used lock tite or something.
