100 Gal Spray Rig 5.5 Hp Honda & Pump 200 ft Hose on Reel
I was operating this rig from the back of a Ford Ranger Pickup. Just fit in under a cap. It also has a Gravity Drop fill pipe that I removed in order to get the rig out of the pickup without removing the cap. I have used this rig seasonally for 7 or eight years. The pump has been replaced and works without leaks. The Honda Motor needs a new pull rope but still starts as is and runs smoothly. We have a second rig with a similar but smaller Honda that we have been running for 15 years wit no maintenance except oil changes. This is a pickup in person only item so you can see it and start the engine yourself. The rig is in my garage and on horses just the right height to be easily slid into the back of your truck. I will include a gunjet spray adjustable nozzle for the hose which may or may not need new washers. The spray handle/nozzles cost ... moreabout $100 new. If you need a spray rig. This is a workhorse. But the main motor starter is a size 2 and not rated for the 20 HP"full working load" on 230V. The sander will need to be run on 440V with the included starter, or you will need to upgrade the starter to a size 3 if you plan to run it on ... more230V. The main drive motor. Sanding rolls, conveyor and conveyor motor run fine, with no excess noise that would indicate bearing problems. The main drive motor has a brake mounted on it, but it was disconnected by the previous owner and we have not attempted to hook it back up. It is a Sterns brand brake and parts should be available if you choose to hook it back up. Also, the forward/ reverse drum switch that controls the conveyor is a little"loose" in the forward position. If you push it all the way forward, it will not start the motor, but if you stop it just shy of all the way, the motor runs fine. May need adjusting or possibly new contacts. The main issue with this sander is with the pneumatic belt tracking system. This sander has an"Air Jet" style tracking system consisting of an adjustable pneumatic relay and 3 regulators. We have been unsuccessful at getting the tracking system to work properly. It will not actuate with just the sanding belt breaking the air stream. But if you stick something stiff against the air jet hole, basically blocking it, the cylinder will actuate. It's possible that it may be adjusted wrong through the regulators or re
