The Telewave TWPC- 4505-1 is a 5' diameter 3/4 wavelength high"Q' bandpass cavity filter with superior selectivity. Bandpass cavities reject all frequencies outside the narrow tuned pass band. These cavities filters reduce transmitter sideband noise and also protect receivers against desensitization. The TWPC-4505 series cavities cover 400-512 MHz band. These filters were all used for receive applications but are capable of transmitter operations up to 350 watts. We used 3 to 6 of these filters in series together with tuned interconnect cables to custom manufacture receiver preselector filters of 2- 4 MHz bandwidth for the land mobile industry.
