Here is a tested. Working HP 8447A Dual Channel.1-400 MHz Bench type RF amplifier in the blue grey dress. I tested it on both channels and found channel 1 to be 2.4 dB low in gain at 400 MHz, so I opened it and found the amp module for that channel had been replaced with a HP module of the same range. I do not think this will hurt the units utility but wanted you to know. The gain plot I made has a 5 dB per division vertical scale and the gain difference is about 1/2 of a division at 400 MHz. VHF Power Amplifier 150 MHZ Repeater Rack mount Motorola?
This is a super heavy duty amplifier made with a giant solid aluminum chasss and massive heat sinks. It is designed to rack mount in a standard 19 inch rack. I have no info on its functionality or original use. It is stamped with 150 Mhz. This would make a great chassis for a new modern super high power pallet. The heat dissapators are bolted to the solid aluminum heat sink that is bolted to the sealed RF compartment. The RF compartment has a flat center section with covers on both sides It looks like there is a tunable filter on both the input and output sections The RF power transistors are burried where I cant see them. So I cant guess at the power output of this unit Thats what I Know about this 15 lbs of RF hardware If you are building a VHF amp this could be just what you need. Thanks for looking.

Icom IC-PW1 HF/50 MHz 1 kW Linear Amplifier
I am the first and only owner of this Icom IC-PW1 amplifier. It was used and then stored in a smoke free environment. It has surface abrasions on the top of the case as you can see from the photos. The amplifier is in perfect working order. The remote head itself is in excellent cosmetic condition. I used this amplifier until downsizing my ham shack and no longer have a need for it. I purchased this amp in January 2007 from AES for $4699.99. I have been asked if I ever had any problems with the autotuner or the power supply or if it has been sent back to repair. I have had no problems with the unit of any kind. I typically operate at 100 watts or less but when I turned it on to"break a pileup" It always worked without any troubles at all.
