Alcatel 10 GHz X-Band Power Amplifier. 10 Watts Give your 10 GHz transverter a power boost with this X-Band power amplifier. This unit produces +41 dBm at 11.7 GHz. And was designed for a 10- 11 GHz microwave communications link, therefore some retuning may be required to achieve full output in the ham band. Measured output at 10368 MHz is about +36 dBm. The connections are: red = +10V, 10A, Green =-5V, 30 mA, Orange =-12V, 82 mA, Dark Grey = GND. There is a second connector cable that has wires for power monitor and alarm. You will need to mount this on a good heat sink and properly bias this PA(negative voltages ALWAYS first) I will not be responsible for users blowing these up. 24 GHz doubler and amplifier
For sale is a microwave module containing a doubler and power amplifier. The module is biased at 6 Vdc and draws 600 ma(12 V is also marked on the unit but is not needed) An adjustable LM317 regulator is included so a common 12 Vdc or battery can be used. A switchable cooling fan is also included. Though the heat sink is sufficiently large it should not normally be needed. An input drive of 5 dBm at 12024 MHz produces in excess of 7 dBm output at 24048 MHz- useful as an LO for the 24 GHz ham band with a 2 meter IF. The unit was used in a 24192 MHz beacon, now QRT. Wideband microwave amplifier. Made by Narda-DBS Microwave. Measured frequency coverage from 5 to over 18 GHz. Tested gain varies from 10.3 dB at 5 GHz to 11.25 dB at 18 GHz. Output power was measured as +21 dBm at 10 GHz. The amplifier requ ires +15 V at 270 mA; the device must be mounted on some sort of heat sink for normal operation.
