Overview

Park City Outfitters is owned and operated by Brandon Bertagnole. The family has lived in Park City, Utah for four generations. In 1989 we started a small Hunting Guide business for big game on our private ranch of 8,000+ acres. The ranch is located just 30 minutes from Park City and 45 minutes from the Salt Lake City airport.

Due to the success of the guided services, we have expanded our operations in early 2000, to offer you guided fly fishing trips in Park City, Utah trips on the renowned Provo River and the beautiful Green River, Utah, below Flaming Gorge Dam.

We offer guided fly fishing trips on other local waters near Park City and upland bird hunting, for a Cast and Blast guided 2-3 day fishing and hunting trip on the Green River and a private pheasant ranch. Brandon has hosted Bill Gorman and Tim Rajeff on the OLN channel, LL Bean Outdoors opening show, in 2005.

We have completed an extensive remodel on our Park City condo located at the intersection of Park Avenue and Deer Valley Dr. and within walking distance to Park City Ski Resort, restaurants, shopping and only 1 mile to Deer Valley Ski resort, via free bus system.

The location of Snow Country Condos is perfect for access to Sundance film activities, ski, golf or booking a fly fishing trip on the spectacular Provo River.

Whether you are coming to fish or spending a week in Park City plan a couple days for fly-fishing on the Green River. We are avid fly fishermen and have been fishing the rivers around ... morePark City Utah all our lives. We encourage, support and practice catch and release fishing. There are several streams and rivers in northern Utah. Fly-fishing trips range from half day to three day over night river float trips. We have fly fishing equipment for rent if needed. Full day trips include lunch, soft drinks & water. Local overnight trips include two meals the first day and last day, three meals on other days. We can help make room arrangements at Red Canyon Lodge, Flaming Gorge Lodge or supply tents for camping during your fly-fishing experience on the Green River.

We can put together a “cast and blast trip” where we pheasant hunt one day and fly-fish one or two days: stay in the new remodeled 2 bedroom Snow Country condo in downtown Park City. Use your imagination, we can create an experience you’ll always remember.

LOCAL FISHING: There is good flyfishing 15-minutes out of Park City and even more within 2-hours. The Provo and Weber Rivers are very close, with several others east of Park City. We know where to go and what time of year to be there. Please take a day to experience the outdoors surrounding Park City. You can flyfish any season on the scenic Provo River because it doesn’t freeze due to temperature control.

Provo River is one of the best known fly fishing rivers in Western United States. It is only 20 minutes from Park City and 45 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. This Blue Ribbon River provides excellent fishing year-round. It originates in the high Uinta Mountains, and is divided into three distinct sections; the upper, the middle, and the lower. The three sections are separated by two reservoirs, the Jordanelle and Deer Creek. Because of these reservoirs the middle and lower sections of the Provo river are classic tail-water fisheries, where the upper is more of a free stone river. These tail-water sections are managed for trophy trout. The water is almost always clear and fishable, and the fish numbers are truly impressive. There are many access points along the 25 miles of river, so if you have any limitations this is a great choice. With its close proximity to Park City this river is ideal for half or full day trips.
