Up for auction is an old vintage NATIONAL PACKAGE SEALER. MODEL 208, NASHUA PACKAGE SEALING DIVISION, NASHUA N.H. It was found at a local flea market so I don't know any history or specific age. It has a partial roll of sealing tape still in it and it pushes it through I believe correctly when the handle is depressed. It has a setting on the side where you can set the tape length, 8,6,4,3. I believe thats inches BUT I CANNOT GET THIS TO MOVE. It must be an older model as I seen on another listing older ones have the metal water container which this one is metal. The brush is also still in the container. I would describe it as being in fair to good used vintage condition. There is some scratches and scuffed. Chipped paint. The chrome-look handle has minor-typical pitting. The metal water container and the ribbed edge where the moistened ... moretape came out is corroded with lots if build up. Not sure if it would clean off. As stated above, I can NOT get the tape length selector to move. I did NOT put water in it to see if it moistened tape. I'll also let the new owner decide if they want to clean off the Chiquita Banana stickers! see photos) Its overall a nice old piece but I always try to be more critical in my descriptions and will not call something mint if it's not! The bottom measures 12 3/8" in length and 4" in width at its widest point. Its approx 6 1/4" in height toward the back high point(not counting the handle) The handle is approx 6 1/4" in length. It is also heavy so I will use a flat rate priority box. I believe the photos show it well. Check them all out as they are part of the description. Please feel free to ask questions! This is for a heavy duty. Very old, green metal 2" tape dispenser. It says"Sekisui" in Japanese Katakana on it. It is very old. It has a lot of tape residue on it, and a little bit of rust. I'm not going to clean it up at all, just in case a buyer is interested in it's vintage value. I'm not really sure how to operate it. But it has two rollers, and the"handle" can move up and down a couple of inches(see the first 2 photos for uppermost and lowermost positions) I did put a 2" roll of packing tape on it and it fits perfectly. And the teeth cut the tape. I have no idea how I ended up with this. But I used to live in Japan so I guess it kind of makes sense. H55 Check out my!

This listing is for an vintage National#208 wet tape dispenser. Heavy metal old dispenser made by Nashua Package Sealing Company. I'm not sure if this dispenser works or if it is complete. Although I don't have tape to test it with. The handle does work and the bearing inside does turn. Overall measurements: 8 1/2" tall x 12 1/2" long x 4" wide. This dispenser was well used and does show appropriate age and use wear. Scuffs. Scratches and finish loss. It is also dirty. Very heavy, well made dispenser.
