This listing is for 2 Globe Wernicke bookcase sections. They are both marke d 3313 BGD 14 and the finish is 373 1/ 2 imitation mahogany. They e ach measure 33" L x 13" W x 15" H. Photo one is the first and photo 2 is the other. They are an older model and are stencil ed with the Globe label. There are no tags. Both are very sturdy and the glass is intact. They both need refinish ing pretty much to the same degree. You can see in photo s that there are many scratches and marks. The only difference is that one is missing it's door equalizer(this is the scissor like attachment that Globe bookcase had that attached to the door and roof) It doesn't affect the door as there are also rollers. I'm not sure if these rollers are original or not as I've ha d other Globe sections that do not have them. American HandMade Late 1920's Sofa. Olive Green. 2 Sections. Long! Beautiful!!!
You re bidding on a late 1920's Sofa. It was made in Arkansas as the tag on the bottom of the sofa states. It is in two sections that are each about four and a half feet long. Making the whole couch about 9 feet. There is a fair amount of markings on the wood. It is missing the little knobs on the tip of the frame. I shot a detailed shot to show it. They are easily replaced. The sofa came to me with reupholstered seat cushions and be throw pillows to match. The seat backs are original as ate the cylindrical pillows. The hand crafting on this item is amazing. True craftsmanship from a golden era of American building. There are no stains on the cushions. Some other work there is a piece of ply wood that was added to the underside of one side to support the springs underneath the seat cushion. It's virtually unnoticeable. I shot a detail ... moreof the side of the couch to show the side of the ply wood. For a couch of this age it is an incredible vintage piece. Ok with selling to a furniture reseller here in Brooklyn. With reupholstering the seatcushions properly this sofa would sell for 10 times what in asking. Local pick up only. I will not entertain shipping. 2 Vintage Gold Carnival Glass Dinner Plates Partitioned into 3 Sections - Floral
I don't know the maker of these two gorgeous plates. But the carnival glass is early, with air bubbles, straw marks, color spots and even little indents- all are indicative of antique or vintage glass. The iridescent glass is a vibrant gold color that changes tone at various angles. The plates are identical measuring 11" in diameter and do not have any, cracks or chips. The partitions are raised and there two small er sections and one that is half the plate. The back of the plate has a textured floral design, this might be pressed glass, but I'm not exactly sure. It still has the original foil sticker on the bottom states“Genuine Incolay Stone. Handcrafted, USA. This is from Incolay’s very popular“ Angelic Realm” line of boxes. And has 2 sections inside which are lined with a soft black material. The box also has 4 felt protective feet on the bottom.
