WE LOVE TO COMBINE BUOYS FOR CHEAPER SHIPPING COSTS! This is 1 super rare beachcombed crab pot buoy found on the Washington coast this last winter. It is made from Styrofoam and measures approx. 9-10" long and 5-7" wide. Pressure buoys usually shrink 50% from their normal size but some times even more! This buoy is called a pressure buoy. It gets dragged down to deep depths of the ocean. Usually over 50 fathoms and the water pressure compacts the buoy to give it its wrinkly skin effect! This usually only happens when a crab pot is lost during a storm and dragged to deeper depths of the ocean. Eventually the rope rots and the buoy will pop back to the surface to be washed upon the beach. Most never make it for sea growth usually makes them to heavy to float. It has the original rope running through it for easy hanging! These floats ... morewere used for the Dungeness Crab industry. They would mark where the crab pot traps were for the crab boats to pull the pots back up. They seldom break loose unless we have a huge storm. What's great about these is they are Styrofoam so they weigh less than the old wood ones and will last forever. This one is in good beachcombed condition. The paint is cracking, chipping, flaking, and fading on this buoy! Looks very nautical! It would look great hanging on a fence, porch, or a room with a nautical theme. Empire P-160 Portable Pressure Fed Sandblaster Pot + 25' 3/4"Blastmaster Hose
You are considering an Empire P-160 Portable Pressure Fed Sandblasting Pot. This pot is used but is in good overall condition. The body of the pot. Pipes, handle etc. have some mild surface rust starting to form on the bare metal, but is in otherwise good condition. The lens on the pressure gauge is cracked, see pictures) but the gauge works fine. Mfg By: Empire Abrasive Co. Philadelphia. PA Model: P-160(not sure if this means 160 Lb of media or 16 gallon capacity) We have tested this pot here and it seems to work fine. We closed the valves and pressurized the tank. It holds pressure fine and we did not notice any leaks. The only issue we had is that our small shop air compressor was not big enough to keep up with the flow required for the pot. Also. Even though we received the included hose and gun/nozzle with this pot, we don't believe ... morethat the nozzle is the proper size. Similar sized pots that we have had in the past required a maximum nozzle hole size of 5/32" The nozzle hole on this one measures approximately 1/2" see pictures) which bleeds the tank rapidly. The included gun/nozzle is a Boride SLVE-5P. It may be possible to buy smaller nozzle tips for this gun. Or, I would suggest putting a properly sized cougar valve on the pot. That way you could control the on/off flow at the gun instead of having to turn the pots valves on or off. The included hose with this pot is 3/4" ID Blastmaster Premium Blast Hose. There is approximately 25' of hose. The pot is usable as is. But it would require a massive amount of air to keep up with the 1/2" nozzle. Item is being sold AS IS. This is a top of the line manufacturer and has had some use on it so it is being sold as is. We did hook it up to air and we can confirm air through the hoses and the regulator did show pressure reading. We did not test with paint. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
