Vintage Monarch Pathfinder Label Maker w/ Number/Letter Dies. Industrial Machine
Travel back in time with this vintage Monarch Pathfinder label maker. It does have some tape left. But not a full roll(see photo) It has a built-in drawer on the bottom with dozens and dozens of metal letter/number dies for the labels. It has the original dust cover. As far as I can tell it works, but the ink pad is dry. It was used for many years in an Ohio dry cleaning shop. You crank the handle and the die gets inked and stamps on label tag at a time. It's an ingenious little all-mechanical non-electrical machine age machine. It will look cool in your store or as an interior decoration bauble. Very nice lightly used 555ES up for offers. Or just buy it now. I disassembled the unit to clean and check all functions of this unit. It has a new brush. The chain drive has been inspected for proper tension and lubed. All of the tape particles and dust(from use) has been cleaned and removed. The blade and cleaner felt has been oiled properly. All of the size buttons work properly. As do the repeat and remaining buttons. It has the water bottle. Water tray, new brush and power cord. The heater top has very minimal cut marks and heats up perfectly. Normally they have numerous deep cut marks from untrained users. In some of the pics it shows it disasembled but that was when I was refurbing it. It is fully assembled now and funtions perfectly.
