This listing is for a vintage Swingline Cub. Metal stapler, and a plastic tape dispenser. The stapler is 5.25"x1.5" across the bottom, and about 1.75" to the highest point, and was made in the US. It has some minor scuffs and scratches, and there is a spot of something on the top, can't tell what it is. The stapler does work. The tape dispenser measures 7.25"2.75" across the bottom, and 2.75" to the highest point. The spool is.75" wide, not including the pieces that stick out to hold it in, and it is almost 1" across. It has a couple of light scratches, and some tiny specks. Shipping is based on 4 pounds, packed weight.

I am offering a pair of older Tums tins/dispensers along with a round Scotch cellulose tape tin. The Tums tins are in nice condition with most all of the labeling present and readable. The lids fit nicely and the push up bottoms both work well. The Scotch tape dispenser has a helpful hint printed inside the tin in case it dries out. The 3M information is printed on the side of the tin with an address of Saint Paul. 6 Minn. There is no zip code. There are a number of patent numbers listed with the newest dating from 31 August 1943 so hope that dates this tin a little better. The lot weighs about 3 ounces ready for shipping. 3 Old Tape Tins, Manson, Homart, & Scotch, Advertising
This lot consists of 3 vintage tape tins. All empty. The first is 4.5 in diameter. The ivory colored top has black writing that states“This box contains ½ pound ¾ inch Black Manson Tape: Manufactured solely by The Okonite Co. 253 Broadway, New York. Superimposed on the top is the“¾” in large numbers(I thought at first these were scratches, but they are not) The bottom is embossed with“Okonite Trademark. The tin has some rust and a scratch marks(see photos) but the lettering is very visible regardless. The next tin is in near mint condition and at one time contained Electric wiring tape. The brilliant yellow, blue and red graphics advertise“Homart Plastic Tape: Our Finest for Electric Wiring” and“free Cutter inside” as well as“self-sealing: replaces both rubber and friction tape: Easier to use…lasting efficient insulation: ¾ ... morein. by 30 ft roll No. 5002. According to the outside panels, the“Homart Electrical Equipment is sold only by Sears, Roebuck and Co. The bottom reads“One tape does the work of both rubber and friction tape” and then goes on to explain why, with my favorite point being”Long Life: lasts and lasts because this plastic is not subject to aging. The inside provides clear instructions for using the exclusive Homart cutter and still has the plastic tape seal. Unfortunately there is no tape left…but it is a comfort to know that somewhere, someone’s house will fall in around them before the electrical tape goes bad. Measures not quite 3.25 inches in diameter. The last tin is in mint condition and is the more familiar“Scotch: brand: Cellophane Tape” complete with the Scotch Plaid coloring. This tin is 3 inches in diameter and once contained 1/2 inch wide tape. The outer panels reads“Made in the U.S.A. Minnesota Mining& Mfg.
