Large vintage(1950's/60's) tape dispenser made by the Scotch tape company. Model number C-23. Is 9 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches tall, with wheel. The wheel is 2 3/4 inches around. Made from good think steel with a plastic wheel for the tape. Works great, no missing or broken parts. Is painted a hammer tone gray. From the 1950's! This thing is heavy. It weighs a little over 8 pounds. It looks like it's made of cast iron. The name is Big Inch! It is a cellulose tape dispenser. 8" Tall and 6" Wide. It has the instructions on the inside. The company is Better Packages. Inc. in Shelton, Connecticut. It was made for 3" core tacky, cellulose tape; width up to 1" As you can see in the pictures. It does have rust. Scratches, and scuffs. I believe that the structural part of it is in good condition. No breaks, dents, or cracks. Thank you so much for looking.Happy Bidding!

The note holder opens, there is a place for a double A battery, I put a battery in but nothing happened, it may need a new lightbulb. There is also a hole on the side that I do not know what it is for. The tape dispenser does not have the piece that holds the tape.
