When tested with a ziplock bag it did not create a full vacuum inside the bag, however it did remove the vast majority of air within the bag before successfully sealing it. Ziplock bags are known to cause problems with other vacuum sealers. Unfortunately, we have not tested it on bags that are designed to hold a vacuum therefore we are not 100% sure that it is fully functional. As for the other belt the power cord was cut so i could not plug it in. However i am sure it will work fine once the power cord is replaced. It is just a 110 plug and will be easy to replace. I tested a ll of the buttons on the machine and they work as they are supposed to. I moved all of the manual cranks on the machine and they work perfectly.
