The tensioner is in working condition but the bearing on the left side of the tensioner looks like it might need to be changed because I can see a few bearing needles(you can see it in the 3rd picture) I did however use it to strap something and it worked just fine the way it is. Here you have a Signode PFH strapping tensioner. It will take 3/4' up to 1 1/4" Steel strapping. It is in used but not abused condition. Guaranteed to go to work for you. Out of a Blacksmith shop where it did more sitting around than anything else. It will clean up and look like new. Has dust and grease on it but it is not hurt even a little bit, heavy brass construction. If you want a new one go to Grainger web site and look for the 3XG92 model, this is the same one. it is Signode PFH, you can get it new there for $924.00 but now sure why you would want to do that, this one is a bargain at $375.00 but if you don't like that, make me an offer. Could have easily crushed the plywood. Overall length: 19 1/2" I havn't had a chance to get a price from Acme. It looks like the current model would be DTW 208. I also looked in the MSC book to get some information. There item#01700970 looks similar, the on line price is $642.75 for there made in USA item. I would say condition is good to almost very good.
