This is a PUNCH-LOK TENSIONER. Sometimes called FAST-LOK. Made in U.S.A. Strapping and hose clamp tensioner. Model: P 1. I believe this style is used for bundling round items. As well as boxes, hose clamps etc. Ratcheting the handle pulls the strapping for tensioning. The knurled jaws are excellent condition. I tryed it with some 1/2" steel strapping I had. Tensioned it around a can, got it so tight it started to crush it. There is a built in dimpler/lock punch for locking the strap tight after tensioning. About 13" long as shown in picture. This is a vintage tool and seems like working ok. I have not used the tool and do not have any steel belts to test it. I bought it because I like the vintage quality of this tool and for great admiration for American inventions/designs. I have included many pictures to show various parts of the strapping tool.
