The Beechler Bellite mouthpiece is cast from the finest surgical steel. The material is resistant to corrosion. Breakage, or change in playing characteristics due to environmental considerations. The hardness of this metal provides an ultra fast response time to bring out the brilliance of the overtone series. The Bellite Alto and Tenor feature a medium high baffle and open chamber which supports a brilliant contemporary sound as well as a subdued ballad sound. The Bellite Soprano and Baritone have an open baffle and open chamber. This mouthpiece has great projection and brightness. The low end is phat and the high register really cuts. I've been using a vandoren java 2.5 reed on this mouthpiece and it responds very well. Nice fast articulation and free blowing feel. The ligature works great and has no problems at all. Beechler Bellite ... moremouthpieces are some of the most aesthetically pleasing. I usually play 8 to 10 hours a week. 75% on alto and the rest of the time split up between soprano, tenor, and bari. My weapons of choice are Selmer Super Action 80 Serie II, paired with either a Theo Wanne Kali or Durga on alto and tenor depending upon my mood. Here's a Ludwig 14" X 22" stainless steel bass drum. I have also been advised that the correct description for this drum is"chrome over wood" The pictures are of the actual drum being sold. So please go by the pics when bidding. This drum has a 7 digit serial number which dates it to the 80's. I cannot read the first digit because it is so scratched up(see photo) The last 6 digits are X094443. Drum is in fairly rough shape. It has numerous dents and scratches on the shell. Hoops show wear and scratches. As stated Ludwig badge is scratched badly. One rubber foot is missing from the leg. Drum has an Evans Muffler head on the front and a Ludwig Rockers on the back.
