Which indicates that it can tension and friction weld strapping from 10mm to 19mm(394" to.750" This unit is used, and works fine with the battery that was installed in the photos. We tested it on several pieces of plastic strapping with no problems at all. The battery charger works fine. And is a Makita unit that will charge Ni-Cads or Lithium ion batteries from 7.2 volts to 18 volts. I only tested the machine with the battery that is installed in the photos; the other two batteries did not seem to want to accept a charge. It is possible that they to sit on the charger for a protracted period and that will bring them back to life, or they might just as easily be totally dead. Consequently, they are sold without warranty.
