Foot pedal operation closes the heater clamp on top to seal the bag. 110 volt single phase. Measures 18 1/2" wide x 25" front to back x 16" tall. Sealer bar on top is 16 1/2" wide. Good cosmetic condition. I plugged it in and it does power up but I'm unable to test without the air system hooked to it. I've never used it or seen it used but I guess you could buy cans and lids at the hardware store.Put your product in the can and this thing rolled the lid on it and sealed it. ABC Office 18" Shrink Wrap Bag Sealer This bag sealer was used for about three years and worked perfectly. Our math estimates that it has only been used for about 2 hours of straight sealing time during those three years(we seal about 10 items per day multiplied by 3 seconds per seal, multiplied by 260 business days per year = 2 hours) Recently the timer circuit failed. And now the heating wont click on because of it. The 4th photo shows the small timer circuit board, which is likely a very inexpensive part. We just didn't have time to fix it, and we wanted a smaller bag sealer anyway. We also had recently purchased a full maintenance kit for the machine which we never got to use(see 5th photo) We paid about $45 for it. Everything else about the machine is in great condition. For your consideration is a bottom marked wax sealer canning jar made by the Minnesota Stoneware Company of Red Wing. Minnesota. This company was founded in 1883; in 1906, it merged with Red Wing Stoneware Company to form Red Wing Union Stoneware Company. Wax sealers were the primary canning jars of yester year. A tin lid was inserted into the groove on top and melted wax was poured into the groove; as the wax cooled, it hardened and formed a seal; creating the name. This wax sealer is 5 3/4" tall, the top is almost 3 3/4" in diameter and the bottom is 4" in diameter. This wax sealer has some glaze skips. Also it has a chip on the bottom edge.
