WVO Designs Raw Power centrifuge Used VGC VFD Heat controller extreme new seal
A new updated shaft seal will be included with the purchase of this centrifuge. Up for bid is a used WVO Designs Raw Power centrifuge. This unit has served me well. But I no longer have the time and desire to pursue my WVO plans. I added a Control Techniques Comander SE.37KW variable frequency drive to control the speed, and a Cutler Hammer E45 48 temperature controller with thermocouple. No heater is included. The unit will be shipped in two boxes and will be disassembled for safe shipment. New seals, if needed, can be ordered from WVO Designs. They have exceptional customer service. The main shaft seal should be replaced since the motor will be removed from the bowl for shipping. I will include a new seal with the purchase of this unit for your convenience. I have been very happy with this unit. And have expeditiously cleaned over 1000 ... moregallons of WVO. The VFD is currently set to spin the shaft at just under 6000 rpm with a simple flip of a switch on the outside of the 3R enclosure. It can be adjusted to suit your needs. The owners manual for the Control Techniques VFD is included. The centrifuge runs on 20 amps 220VAC. The heater control is 110VAC and includes the solid state relay and thermocouple. It can be used to control the heater sold by WVO designs.
