In all honesty. The best internal frame backpack I have ever owned. I live in Montana and have been on many backpacking trips in the pacific northwest as well as in South America and have not come across a better backpack than this for the money. I paid I believe 135 for this about a year ago. This is a super durable backpack that will not let you down. It is big however but perfect for long trips. It can be downsized too for short trips if you want to maintain that minimalist mentality. But this time with a bigger backpack that does not sacrifice comfortability. Up for auction is a down sleeping bag. Brand says"Down East" However web searches have not yielded any info on this bag's specs. For those who have shopped me before, you know I provide all available info and specs on my goods. there isn't any available for this one, so I'll give you what I know, based on my own gear experience) I've had it for a number of years. And have used it only a handful of times as a backup/ spare bag for backpacking companions. Its been used comfortably down to the +45F degree range. It might be rated for lower, but it hasn't been used any colder than that. Its been stored unstuffed and hanging in a smoke-free and pet-free home. It is in good condition. There are no holes. Tears, wear spots, down leaks, or any other visible signs of degradation. The only sign of age on this bag would ... morebe in its cinch cording around the hood area, it could be replaced, but it is still fully functional(just not"pretty" The shape is a mummy-style. But as you can see from the pictures, it does not have a sharp taper to the toe box area, good for folks who find tight mummy bags too constricting. I would say this is a"regular" sized bag. I'm 5'5" and is perfect for me, however a 6' person would find it too short. There is no zipper on this bag. Its a top-load only. There are attached"roll" straps at the top(red) But no stuff sack. Outer fabric seems to be a thick nylon. Water-resistant fabric that is durable with a crunchy/ crinkly sound(definitely not the super-thin, super-fine fabrics on bags today- this is durable stuff- it leaks down far less than my delicate technical bags, that's for sure! Weight is in the neighborhood of 3.5- 4lbs. This bag would be a good workhorse/ backup backpacking bag.
