Here is a nicely worked Semi-Precious stone animal carving. It is hand-carved with very nice detail and proportion. This one is an Elephant made from Flourite. He's done very well and the stone is really nice as you can see from the pictures. Great banding and color! Now. Flourite is a very soft stone so you have to be very careful with it. It is not hard like agate. With this said, please see below for the problems this piece has. It is approximately 1 3/4 inches tall and 1 1/4 inch wide by 2 1/2 inches long. Fine specimen! He will be wrapped well! NOTE: Because of the softness of the stone it is fragile! This elephant has a chip on the ear. A chip off each front leg, an a repaired back leg(very clean break and easy to super-glue) Please see the pictures as there is a photo for each of these problems. Up for your consideration is a used. But very good working banding tensioner. I recently cleaned and lube it up and it works great. There is nothing wrong with it. It is a very well built tool. I am unsure if it is made for steel or plastic, but I would assume based on its age, it is for steel. That is what I had used it for. Up for your consideration is a wonderful pair of ebony footstools with sting inlay. Brass rope-twist embellishment, black porcelain feet and possibly original upholstering. Each stool measures 11 inches in diameter and 4 inches in height. They have a few bumps here and there that can be expected from footstools of this age, but otherwise are in great condition.
