This is a much sought after S. Blanckensee Art Deco Solid Silver with Rose Gold Banding Cigarette case made in 1924. The business was established in Bristol By Abraham Solomon Blanckensee in 1826 and shortly after moved to Birmingham. Any serious collector of silver would appreciate this cigarette case as larger objects made by S.Blanckensee would be out the price range of most collectors of silver. The case has a very fine Art Deco machine engraving on both sides of the case enhanced by thin Rose Gold Banding. The gold plating on the inside of the case is in very good condition with only very fine scuffing to the surface. The case opens and snaps shut nice and square to the frame as seen in the photos, the outside faces of the case have only very fine surface scuffs rather than scratches and the photos do not show the true beauty of the ... morefinish on the case the only thing missing are the original elastic straps the straps could be taken from a new cheap metal cigarette case for a couple of pounds if wanted. Each goblet measures 7 1/2 inches tall. And 3 1/2 inches in diameter across the rim. I did not shine them up because for whatever reason you may want them the way they are. The tarnish/patina is minor and will come right off if you so desire. All 4 are in solid. Sturdy condition. They are not dinged or dented up. I took good photos of this item. This auction is for a set of 8 67/8" or 7" Salem Ironstone Dishes in the Whimsey design and having a metal banding around the perimeter which I believe might be platinum. The dishes are all in great shape with no chips. Nicks, or other imperfections and all having the platinum banding fully intact. The dishes are a slightly off white color and all are marked with the Salem International Ironstone trademark, along with the pattern name of Whimsey which is signed in script. These come from Salem, England. Each dish features a blossom with 5 petals or groups of flowers, all have nice detail and no problems with the painted design. Handmade training halter/bridle made of cotton banding and cotton rope, 5” mouth
For sale is a training halter which could also double as a training bridle. This halter is made from dull orange cotton banding and white cotton rope(8 mm) Cotton rope forms the mouthpiece. That is about 5” with aluminum“guards” that are 3.25” in diameter. The"guards" could also double as attachments for reins. The cotton banding is flat, 1” wide, and forms the headband. A pulley system on the band adjusts for height and tension. The lead is of the same dull orange banding. This training halter appears to be handmade, and I’ve never seen anything quite like this. Vintage Large Silk Banner Scarf. Barge Boat Roses on Black with Yellow Banding
I am not sure of the exact age of this banner scarf. But it came from a clearance with mostly 60s clothes so I think it is safe to assume it is from then. This is large in format and is really exceptionally coloured with bargeware style roses over a black background. The ends are accented with a contrast daffodil yellow band. Silk with hand-rolled hems. Excellent condition. We will combine scarves, ties and cravats for postage: up to four sent for the postal price of one.

Coiled Weaved Lidded Basket with Brownish / Purple Banding & Edging
This coiled weaved basket has an overall diameter of approximately 4” and a height of 2 9/16” including the 1/2” tall knob handle on the removable lid. The outer edge of the lid and the inner edge of the mouth are lined with brownish colored edging that has a slight tint of lavender. The knob is covered is a similar colored material. With banding on the top of the lid and on the sides of the piece that continue to the underside. The banding on the underside of the basket is a more vibrant purple which would tend to suggest that the coloring on the top of the basket was originally the same color, but has faded over time. The center of the underside, where the coil of the basket starts, is reddish in color. The piece is solid with no damage and smells like fibrous plant material. The basket weighs 2.1 ounces. As well as boxes, hose clamps etc. Ratcheting the handle pulls the strapping for tensioning. The knurled jaws are excellent condition. I tryed it with some 1/2" steel strapping I had. Tensioned it around a can, got it so tight it started to crush it. There is a built in dimpler/lock punch for locking the strap tight after tensioning. About 13" long as shown in picture. Vintage Brass Banding Lining Sculpture Pottery Plant Wheel Turntable Stand USA a
This is a vintage banding wheel. The base and the column is one piece cast iron and the wheel is cast Brass. The height of the wheel is varible by moving the shaft up and down. It is adjustible from about 24 inches to 35 inches high. This was an industrial wheel used at the Sterling China Co. I estimate that it was made between 1920 and 1950. The top of the shaft has a single ball bearing to facillitate easy turning of the table. The top is about 5 1/2 pounds& 8 3/8" diameter. Of solid cast and machined brass and the entire unit weighs over 25 pounds. NOTE: It appears that one foot has been repaired by brazing sometime in the last 90 years. See last picture of foot. Auction Item: Primitive Crock. Salt/ Butter/ Pickle Description: Stoneware with hand-painted Dark to Navy Blue double banding. It is in really nice vintage condition. Unmarked. I see no makers mark only wheel chatter marks. I purchased this crock at a country estate sale in south-western Washington State. Exterior crazing is present as are glazing pop marks. The interior and exterior are both heavily glazed. There are a couple of small chips. The interior base reveals pin-wheel marks from its creation. The bottom rim shows chatter marks created when removing from its wheel. I have inserted an up-close photo of the bottom center wheel circle foot marks. Chatter marks, and interior base pinwheel pattern. The"off" circular shape is also proof of this piece being hand wheel thrown. It is very very very only slightly oval.
