Shawnee Corn Casserole Ear of Corn Vintage Oven Proof Covered casserole in the KING CORN pattern made by Shawnee. It is marked Shawnee U.S.A. 74 OVEN PROOF on the bottom. The bowl without the lid measures 11 1/4 inches long. 6 inches wide, and 3 1/8 inches deep, 6 inches tall with the lid in place. Condition: Some stress cracks at the back of the casserole and one small stained crack line that comes up over the top edge of the bowl about 1/2 inch. Otherwise none of these stained crack lines show from the outside. The lid also has a factory crack under the glaze, about 1/4 inch(very minor) This was from the pottery having a small crack line in it before firing(shown in the photo of the inside of the lid) It is stable and has been that way for years. Welcome to t his auction for a vintage Fire King bowl. This is a white milk glass mixing bowl with a red polka dot pattern on the outside. This piece is in good vintage condition with no chips. Cracks, crazing, or stains. The red dots have no scratches on them. This bowl looks to have been used very little and stored well. There are NO utensil marks inside the bowl. The splash proof bowl measures 7.5" across and it is about 4.5" deep. It holds aprox. 2 quarts. The bottom has the embossed Fire King ovenware stamp. This is a 3 piece set of stackable heavy gauge aluminum camp cookware made by Famous Trails. It is as thick walled as most Sigg and Trangia cookware I have seen. I do not know when or where it was made. There is a 4 qt. dutch oven with matching lid. A 2 1/2 qt. boiler with matching lid and a 1 1/2 qt. boiler/sauce pan with matching lid. The handles on the two smaller pans are collapsible for out of the way storage and the handles on the dutch oven fold up to lock the set together. This is a fairly clean used set which has some small dings, a little carbon stain and utensil wear/scratches in the bottoms as shown. Free Shipping, Insurance and Tracking!
