This is a Set of Antique Ornate Treadle Sewing Machine Drawers. They date from the late 1890's or early 1900's. I do not know who made these. But the style is similar to the following brands; Eldredge, Standard, American, Waltham, Brunswick and National. The set includes 4 side drawers. The middle drawer with built-in long bobbin holder, side panels and some screws. The screws were in the drawers and some look like they belong to the set, so I left all of them with it. There are NO drawer frames. Each piece has an ornate pressed wood face. The side drawers have ornate drawer pulls. The finish is dark with an alligator texture. The insides of the drawers are dusty. One drawer has a chip on the top left portion of the face. The drawers are solid. Each drawer has a 5" x 3-5/8" bowed face and measures 15-3/8" at the longest ... morepoint not including the metal pull. Each drawer has a 5/8" notch along the bottom. Antique US Engineers Blasting Machine Dynamite Blasting Plunger Box Blasting Box
Here is a really decent old dynamite blasting plunger machine or exploder. It is a U.S. Engineers Standard 30 Cap Exploder made by he Fidelity Electric Company. Lancaster, PA. I am not sure of the actual age. It is 8 inches wide, 6-1/2 inches thick and 16-1/2 inches tall including the T handle. The original tag is intact and easily read. The box is wood with dove tail joints, is has been painted, which I believe is original, the original wooden T handle is in very nice shape as is the original copper wing nuts. The strap may not be original, I have seen others with leather carry straps, this machine has a thick rubber strap. The plunger may need a little lube, but it does pull out and push in ok. The last time I put a meter on it, it did produce an electrical charge. Just a really neat old item to display and talk about with friends, or even ... morelube up and use if you like. This is a pretty scarce Western Electric apparatus. This is a short wave radio Diathermy medical device. This has some age to it and it looks late 40's to early 50's to me. Somehow. This dude takes short wave radio waves and it creates deep, penetrating heat(quack medicine at it's finest, although these are still in use today) I plugged this in and it lit up and I am pretty sure it still works. This thing is compact at 16" x 16" x 11" and must weight at least 40 pounds. The case is built like a tank and has a drawer that the two heating pads and cords are stored in it. The case has a couple of scuffs, but is well built and in good shape. The lid is removable and the wood back is held in place by four screws. This seems to be missing some parts as the photos indicate, I am not an expert on these so I am not sure what is not present. There is no model number that I see but the Singer name mark and button is present.There is some paint wear and metal discoloration on the underside. This is a early Davis sewing machine.Around 1866. Job Davis, an inventor, exhibited his machine which was considered a great improvement over the sewing machine previously invented by Elias Howe and it aroused the interest of brothers John and Joseph Sheldon. In February 1868, the Davis Sewing Machine Company was started in Watertown by the Sheldons with a capital of $150,000. This machine is one of the early specimens, circa 1869, by the way. 1926 Singer Portable Sewing Machine Dome Wood Top w/Key Condition: Very good. Very Little if any gold wear. Needs foot pedal. Light works. Cord cloth is fraying in one spot as shown in my last picture. No wires showing. Bobbin cover needs to be slipped on, I don't know how it works or I would do it. Band is on the wheel good. Wheel turns smoothly lifting the needle. The wood dome cover has a few surface scratches as most of them do. Has it's original KEY. All in all. It looks like a real good machine for it's age. I am also including more Singer bobbins and attachments in a singer box with this sewing machine.Serial number starts with AB which I was told is from 1926 Singer Machines. 1922 Singer 28K Hand Crank Sewing Machine with Mahogany Coffin Case
Up for auction is an antique Singer hand crank sewing machine. Model 28K. Serial number Y637955 dates the machine to 1922. Very good condition– all of the mechanisms appear to be working and the crank turns smoothly. The finish is in good condition with only minor scuffs and scratches and some wear to the decals. The case is a coffin style appears to be mahogany and is in very good condition. The only issue with the case is a repair to the accessory compartment- there is a crack in one of the“rails” that holds the lid on and a small chip to the corner of the top. The latches are intact and sturdy. I did have to replace the front slide plate( it was missing when I got the machine) I took one f rom another Singer machine I have- it is not an exact match( see photo) and is a little hard to slide. 1889 Singer VS2 fiddle base sewing machine. No Reserve
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE VS2’s with the fiddle base design were only produced from 1887-1891. This wonderful little machine is fully functional and looking for a new home. The“painted flowers” decals are original and not some basement-made decals like some sadly showing up on eBay. They do show wear so please check all the pictures. The serial number stamped on this is: 8671364. The chrome on this is just amazing and everything moves smoothly. I sewed a few stitches on this and am amazed on how well it sewed. 1940'S ATLAS BANTAM BULK VENDING MACHINE - BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED!
This auction is for a very nicely restored 1940's Atlas Bantam 5 cent bulk vending machine in good working condition. It has an original embossed Dietz lantern globe with a n original vendor"coin" style decal on the outside of the globe. Vending operators used the Dietz globes because they were less expensive than buying replacements from Atlas. The machine was totally disassembled. Bead blasted, cleaned and polished to a mirror finish. The original tray was powder coated with a beautiful black/ grey hammertone finish and has felt pads on the bottom so it won't mar any surface. The chute flap, vending knob and mechanism cover have all been in-painted with black enamel just like the original factory finish. This machine is truly beautiful to behold and would look fantastic on a kitchen counter, in a show garage, game room ... moreor office. It is ready to vend peanuts. Cashews, M&M's, chiclet style gum, jelly beans and just about any small item in bulk. A lock and key are included as well. Up for auction is a penny acorn gumball machine. The machine has been completely gone through. Machine was taken apart and glass bead blasted. Painted an automotive paint(base coat clear coat paint) done in orange and black like Harley Davidson colors. Machine is a 1 cent machine and currently set up for gumball. Also included separately is a portion vender wheel if you want to switch from gum to candy. Also includes new Lock and key. New rubber feet for counter top placement. Antique Vintage Triple Candy Gumball Machine Dispenser
You are bidding on a Really Old Gumball machine with 3 compartments. I would take out the turn of the century peanuts and mike and ike's(just kidding. But close) but don't have keys and don't want to take a chance on scratching it. The red seems to be original paint. Seems to work just fine. Takes Quarters.
