Vintage Monarch Pathfinder Label Maker w/ Number/Letter Dies. Industrial Machine
Travel back in time with this vintage Monarch Pathfinder label maker. It does have some tape left. But not a full roll(see photo) It has a built-in drawer on the bottom with dozens and dozens of metal letter/number dies for the labels. It has the original dust cover. As far as I can tell it works, but the ink pad is dry. It was used for many years in an Ohio dry cleaning shop. You crank the handle and the die gets inked and stamps on label tag at a time. It's an ingenious little all-mechanical non-electrical machine age machine. It will look cool in your store or as an interior decoration bauble. Hi! Up for auction is this neat old Victor Talking Machine metal plate/label-it is in decent shape for the age-1 de Febrero 1904 is printed on the front. There is a hole in each corner. The paint on the front is black-the metal is copper colored. The metal on the back is a yellowish brass color with wear/patina. The back has no writing; on the front is the talking machine with the dog looking into the horn-below are the words"His Master's Voice. There is more writing with model numbers. This came from a local clothing store that had been in business since the early 1900's This is in as found condition and appears to operate as it should but this doesn't have any labels so I could verify that it would print properly. This also has the original instruction manual. The only part that has some rust on it was the latch that holds the print block in place. This can be seen it picture#7 this also has some chips in the painted parts due to it's age and use. There are several letters.
