The sewing machine was in a parlor cabinet that could not be refinished so I am selling the parts. Antique Machine Age Industrial Cast Iron Table Legs Base Victorian WHITE Sewing
Here we have a great antique cast iron base table base that came off from an old WHITE sewing machine. The cross piece can be removed with a flat head screw driver if you wish to use the two legs on a larger table. The legs stand about 28 inches tall. The top is about 13 inches long and the bottome where the casters are is about 16 inches long. When the cross piece is bolted in the table base is about 21 inches wide. This is a wonderful machine. It will sew leather and denim and canvas. It is all steel and very heavy duty. It has been tested and works and the light works as well. The only flaw I could find with the machine is that the wiring going to the light is starting to crack slightly and there is some small slight discoloration on the matte finish of the machine in a couple spots. This is very minor- I actually had to point it out to someone who looked at the machine. It has two spool pins and can be used with one thread at a time or with two. It comes with a large variety of accessories and cams for decorative stitiches. It also includes the buttonholder in the pink case with original instructions. There is a needle position control and the needle can be moved to the right. Left or in the center. The original manual is included(it is just missing ... morethe cover) This is an excellent machine for heavy duty use or for decorative stitching. It is sturdy and ready to go!
