ANTIQUE BLOW TORCH STYLE No. 7 SOLDERING IRON TOOL. Total length of the 2 parts assembled together is 11-1/4" long. It weighs 4.5 pounds. The soldering tip is 6-3/4" long and about 1-1/4" in diameter and is marked NO7 with a recessed indent for the set screw. The holder is about 7" long and seems to be a combination of brass. Listed for auction is this 1950's soldering iron with a wood handle and no markings on it for brand name or country of maufacture. It comes with 2 soldering rods both with wood handle. There are also 2 almost complete rolls of Airline(brand name) acid core solder and a roll of Standard acid core solder with just a little bit of solder on it. These were in my father's collection of vintage items. The soldering iron has a small drop of old paint on the plug. The cord appears to be okay. The unit has not been tested and selling it'as-is" The iron cosmetically is good, the rods are good for the age-one has a slight bend but is useable.
