Bought this used from a friend a while ago but never hooked it up. Still in great working condition. Just worn and has a couple hairline cracks along the handle, as you can see in the pics. Offered for your consideration is a vintage regulator set made in Minneapolis USA by Smith’s. I tried to read as much as I could around the edge of the red bell section. Here’s what I got. At the top between the two gauges is A7423. Then a bolt, then Smith, then another bolt head, then WF?D(The? Could be an I could be a F) then another bolt head, then EQUIP, then another bolt head, then CORP, then another bolt head, then MLPS, then another bolt head, then U.S.A. then another bolt head, then TYPE BB ACFT The ACFT is under TYPE BB) Put it together and you have: A7423 SMITH WF?D EQUIP CORP MLPS U.S.A. TYPE BB ACFT. CONDITION GOOD- UNTESTED. This appears to a good regulator but I did not test it and will not guarantee it as a workin g unit. The regulator control t-bar turns smoothly but with the proper resistance. The red paint is about 80% intact ... morewith some surface rust.
