It is made by"Superior Pittsburg" in the USA[Stamped into brass] There are no numbers. It is in fine condition. The brass is un marred. The glass is with out cracks and seems to be firmly set into place. The caps are all accounted for, there are three of them. The threads in the brass are very good. Piece measures 2 1/2" in length. The top viewing port measures approximately 1 1/4" across in width outer edge to outer edge. The interior viewing port measures 3/4" in width across. It is shaped like a nut in this interior port with 6 sides. The in take and out take flow vents measures. on my ruler the measurement scale is marked 5/32. ... moreAnd. It measures 2 1/2 little lines. On the 1/10 marking of the ruler the little flow holes on the in take out take measures 2 lines. Piece weighs 6 ozs. These measurements. Of course, are approximate. Piece is in very good condition. The brass is un marred. The viewing port glass is un cracked and seems to be firming set in place. The threads are very good. The caps are very good. Three are three caps.

This is a really neat old brass EAGLE oil can. It is approx. 5 7/8 inches tall. 2 1/4 inches in diameter at the bottom and the spout is 4 Inches long from the outside if the nut. The top reads: NO. 66 EAGLE MADE IN USA It does have a dent? In the bottom ring and on the top lid. See photos. It does need to be cleaned up but I will let the new owner decide what they want to do with it. It does seem to have a little oil left in it. This old brass oil can would make any collection complete or it would make a very nice gift for someone who is a collector. Farm Fresh Estate Oiler! Here I go again with another offering from my multi-generational farm estate that is for one of the largest oilers for a hit miss engine that is a FULL QUART drip oiler for a hit and miss engine made by the Michigan Lubricator co of Detroit Mich. It measures 13" high by 6 1/2" wide and is 4" deep or diameter. It is all brass and signed by the maker and also Ohio Brass who supplied the brass for the making of piece. As you can see from the pictures the glass tubes are out on both sides but I understand these are not hard to replace amonst the people who know hit and miss engines. Its a gran-daddy and I have never seen one this big which leads me to believe it was to a larger commercial or heavy engine. I have sold Pittsburgh Shades Previously and this shade is very similar with the Brass Cut out Silhouettes Used of That Era. This Shade is Original to my late 1800's built home. The top brass fitter portion would take the old spring type gas fitters. All glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips seen. The glass is all original to the shade with butterscotch and caramel colored slag/ stained glass. The fitter measures 1 5/8 inches across with the tabs measuring an extra 1/4 inch for a total 2 inch fitter end. The shade is six sided measuring approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches across the bottom. Bidding on a nice Antique brass 3-chime hand pump whistle. The whistle is in working condition. Stands approx 12" tall plus 2 1/4" with handle and the cylinder is approx. 4 3/8" in diameter. There are no cracks. Dents and the 3 mounting feet are all intact. This antique whistle is in as found condition with patina and will let the new owner polish if desired. These were only made from the late 1800's to early 1900's. There is no indication of who it was made by and very few had any maker marks or dates. They could have been used in early steam or gas launches and any vehicle that required audible sound for safety.

It is marked Paiste 4471 on the brass fixture and on the ceramic piece that holds the light inside. Displays exceptionally nice. Ornate Vintage Gas Jet Valve with Ornate Art Deco Design This is a working piece of vintage hardware. A gas jet valve with art deco design. It appears to be brass and is marked JAPAN so may be a reproduction from a more recent era. It is being sold"as found"it has not been cleaned up either. The knob turns well. The piece measures about 2.12" x 2" and the opening is about 5/8" across. Please refer to photographs for best description.
