1890's SQUARE BRASS GAS MISSION, ARTS & CRAFTS, CEILING FIXTURE
This is an unusual hanging fixture as the harp was bent out of square tubing. From the harp to the ceiling is also square brass. Would we consider this Mission. Part of the Arts& Crafts movement or? As you can see the brass needs to be refinished and as it is all brass it can be polished. The harp is 17 inches long and 11 1/4 inches wide. The overall length is about 29 inches. It is actually quite straight and dent free. The little tighting coller on the base of the ceiling cover needs to be reattached(easy fix with solder) There are a few very small dents in the round decorative above the harp. Old Rare Justrite Safety Gas Can Brass Plaque Primitive shop fuel can
Up for sale is this used Rare Old Justrite Safety Gas can. This particular can has a Justrite Brass plaque on the front. As the pictures show. This can has all the signs of a very used can. It's greasy, dirty, has missing paint, dings, and scratches. The inside is also dirty. The Grip handle Flip top does function and the spring is strong. The can is 6 3/4" Tall, 4 3/4" wide across the bottom 1 pound 11 ounces in weight. I have not tested the can for leaks. This would make a cool primitive shop display. I don't know the capacity of the can but I would put it at 2 pints, maybe. I have not seen one like this small or this unique. Please refer to the pictures for the best description. nbsp; D escription Antique Solid Brass Swivel Gas Lamp This is a very nice Ornate and Rare Solid Brass Swivel Gas Lamp or Sconce that I acquired from a local Antique Shop. With Swivel at full extention the lamp measures 19 inches in length and at folded half extention it measures 10 1/4 inches length. This lamp appears to be all original parts and the swivels turn well. The gas valve turns but it takes a bit of elbow grease when turning. The threads appear to be in good condition. This Gas Lamp is solid brass but has been painted with varying shades of gold. Bronze and brown colors. There are spots where the paint has chipped away and it is definately solid brass underneath the paint. This is a real nice original BRASS TAG for an ALAMO engine. Nice original tag with the ALAMO name complete with the original drive pins to attach it to the hopper. Original Early Brass Grease Gun Pump Oiler Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor
This is a real neat old. Original brass grease pump or gun. It is called the N.F.O. Injector Pump and was made by the New York and New Jersey Lubricant Company as it says on the engraving on the body. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs anywhere on it. It measures about 1 3/8 inches in diameter and about 9 1/2 inches long without the tip. It has an ornate end on it. I'm not sure if it works as I haven't tried it but I would guess that it would need a new leather washer on the end of the plunger at the very least. The pump body is in great shape and the tip has a few dings in it from being used. It still displays very nicely and would look great all polished up with your early engine or horseless carriage! Valve was made by"MICHIGAN LUBRICATOR CO DETROIT" and has the name on the handle. Tank flange has the Case Eagle logo and part#3325A cast on it. Brass gas pressure regulator helium CO2 Nitrogen gauge
This regulator was removed from an old CO2 surgical laser. It was working at the time of removal. IT unfortunately took a short fall and damaged the front gauge. The rest of it seems to be fine.I do not know about the insides but the housing appears to be solid brass. Thanks for looking.
