Old Stromberg M-2 Early Brass Tractor Carburetor Twin City Hit MIss Gas Engine
This is a very hard to find Stromberg M-2 carburetor for an early tractor or automobile. The body is made of brass. It has a 1 11/16 inch intake and a 1 7/16 opening into the manifold. It mounts with two holes 2 11/16 inches on center. It will likely need a complete rebuild but it is all there. A few of the steel fasteners have rusted off but overall this carburetor seems to be in pretty good condition. The throttle shaft is stuck and broken but the choke shaft moves freely. These carburetors were used on the early Twin City tractors and probably several others. They are EXTREMELY tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a restoration or for a spare on the shelf. Here it is. The pictures tell the story. Old Kingston Brass Tractor Carburetor Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Magneto Oiler
This is a really nice original brass Kingston carburetor for an early tractor or automobile. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It mounts with two holes 2 7/16 inches apart on center. One has threads in it and the other is a through hole. The throat here is 1 3/16 inches in diameter while the intake is 1 3/8 inches in diameter. Everything moves as it should and the shafts are tight enough and very usable. The only blemish I see anywhere on this carburetor is a slight dent in the intake opening which would be easy to remedy. The bowl on it is cast brass like the rest of it which is rather unusual. Another unusual feature is the priming pin. I don't think I've seen another like it. The valve is missing for the drain on the bottom but these are available rather inexpensively as reproductions. ... moreThe pictures tell the story on this piece. Old Sumter AP Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Brass Magneto Steam Tractor Oiler HOT!!
This is a very rare original Sumter Model AP low tension rotary magneto for a hit and miss gas engine or tractor. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind except for two of the outer magnets being cracked. This could probably be repaired but doesn't affect it's function at all. It turns over very nicely with very little wear in the bearings and has excellent magnetic pull. It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine is it is set up properly. It has a brass base and mounts on a 2 x 3 inch bolt pattern and the mounting threads are perfect. The output porcelain is also in perfect condition. It has an adjustable chain sprocket on it which isn't original but can be removed if you don't need it. Original Brass Top Radiator Tractor Rat Rod Butt Buggy Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam
Here's a real nice original brass radiator for an early car. Truck, tractor, or whatever project you may be working on! It's in great original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. I have looked it over well and can't see any holes or cuts but if I missed one it would be very small and easy to repair. It does need a good cleaning as the cores are quite dirty but this is the fun part. It was made by the Modine Company in Racine, WI and measures about 18 3/4 x 23 inches overall. This came from an old farm workshop and I suspect it was saved from an early application that had worn out and was scrapped but this was good yet so it was saved. I have not done any polishing on it but it will polish up real nicely and really set off your project. It would especially look good on a rat rod or a butt buggy for the shows. Old Antique Michigan Brass Hit Miss Gas Steam Engine Rod Oiler Tractor Magneto
This is a very rare original Michigan connecting rod oiler for an early hit and miss gas engine or steam engine. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 2 1/8 inches in diameter and about 4 1/8 inches tall overall. The glass is in perfect condition. It has 3/8 inch pipe threads which are in great shape. The Michigan name is in the top as can be seen. The only flaw that I've noted is the wrench marks on the mounting hex which shouldn't be noticed all that much when it's on an engine. One of the flats has"2 1/2" stamped into it. This is a very rare rod oiler that certainly doesn't turn up very often so if you need one for your engine restoration or to fill that hole in your brass collection don't pass it up! This is for a Old brass gas valve,that I found sticking up out of a block of concrete on the bank of fall creek,It had along section of pipe,leading to the concrete, It looked to be in a pile of old metal and stone that must of been push towards the bank of the creek when they were finishing one of the roads that run next to the creek.The place on the creek where I found this artifact is inside the town Of Pendleton. Ind. Up for bids is an antique hit and miss engine. Wizard, Hercules Electric Co. Auto Sparker Magneto. Guys, this is way to cool. This has been sitting in my basement now for over 20 years! I never new it had so much brass! It appears to be complete except for the oil fill hole caps as can be seen in the pictures. The Brass Name Tag! Brass bottom, brass body and even brass balls on the governor! This spins freely by hand. It appears to have a little bit of bearing wear. It even has the often missing friction drive governor and is loose. Buy as is with no returns, but buy with confidence! Old Detroit Brass Carburetor Dodge Chevy Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor Oiler
This is a pretty nice original Detroit brass carburetor for an early car or truck. I believe it was used on Dodge Brothers but may have several other applications as well. It seems to be in pretty good shape with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs. The throttle shaft is stuck and the butterfly is bent but this should be fairly easy to remedy. It is missing the cover on the float chamber. The carburetor has a 1 5/8 inch air intake and a 1 inch opening at the throttle shaft. It mounts with a flange with four holes on a 7/8 x 3 inch rectangular bolt pattern. The mounting body is cast iron but the entire body of the carburetor is brass. All in all this is a pretty nice original carburetor found in the workshop of an early car collector. The pictures tell the story. You'll like it. Good Luck.

This is a very hard to find original brass automatic greaser for the connecting rod bearing on a hit and miss gas engine. I'm pretty sure it was factory equipment on the Sparta Economy and early Evansville built Economy and Hercules engines. I've had a couple untouched original engines that both had these greasers on the connecting rod. This one measures about 1 3/16 inches in diameter at its widest and about 2 3/8 inches tall. It has 1/8 inch pipe threads that are in excellent conditon. It has a 00 stamped on a flat of the hex. It is in great condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has some blemishes on the knurling but this could be remedied if you so choose. Coleman 200 (Canada) naptha gas lantern - red painted brass fount - May 1962
Coleman 200 white gas naptha lantern. Made in Canada May 1962(5/62) Red paint on brass fount. No globe. Works great. New generator installed. Pump handle is secured using screws instead of a C-clip. Valve wheel and tip cleaner move freely. Valve wheel is a little discoloured and is chipped on about 1/4 of the front edge. Vent is chipped underneath the nut and on an edge near the bail handle hole. Burner frame does have a little rust but is in good shape. 3-piece fuel cap is nickel. A tiny dent is visible above the Coleman decal. The mantle won't survive the trip through the mail. Overall. Complete with brass Bijou sized inverted mantle burner complete with ceramic nozzle(where the mantle hangs) A pretty curved tube swan neck. The overall projection from the wall is 240mm, and total height 170mm. The brass wall plate is 53mm diameter. Brass bracket-back has 3 fixing holes and gas connection to rear. Gas tap still turns, uncleaned and untouched. The lamp is fitted to a swivel which allows it to be turned in to the wall when not in use, so less liable to damage. Tap unit has an Rd. Registered design number, hard to read but looks like 554065, which would date to about 1911. The manual describes 3 selectable modes of operation. It is my understanding that only the two top covers are removed(lifted out) for starting. Then replaced for operation, not the entire shell which requies a small phillips drive) I am sure that this is the only unit in current BNSF paint. Couplers are double sprung. Overall condition is excellent, the body has been ultrasonically cleaned in a soapy water solution, so zero dust(after photos) The lights were removed by painter and still not replaced, but it is just a string of them with a plug and placemnet.
