I bought these shoes for my son so that he could try mountain bike. He used them once or twice before growing out of them. They are in excellent condition. The interior of the shoe and the stitching look good as new. He did wear them on the trail. So there are a few signs of wear and discoloration on the bottom of the shoe(see pictures) These were worn with SPD cleats, but I know that they are compatible with Crank Brothers as well. The wringer shows appropriate wear and tear for its age. The rollers do show signs of cracking- I believe due from age. There is a rivet missing from the right side of the roller housing. Also marked three times with an"6 A" and there is also a marked# 8" I see lots of nail holes in the bottom of this piece. Showing it was actually used to make shoes. Two vintage cobblers anvil shoe forms one is about 8 1/2" long and they other is about 6 1/2" long. There is no stand with these forms. The only markings I can see is the number 3 on each form. Where painted black at one time a little of the paint remains on each. There is rust on these forms see photo's.

Sized 9 1/2C and stamped Rover. These two wooden shoe molds are dated Jan 6, 1953. The name Woodright is also marked on each mold. These would make interesting bookends or fun display items on a table or shelf. Vintage Ladies High Heel Shoe Mold From 1961
Hard to find ladies high heel shoe mold sized 10B. The mold is dated Jan 1961 and best that I can make out has the name Sterling stamped on the mold(the"s" and"ling" are easily seen. There are several letters in between that have worn away) This mold was used in the manufacturing of shoes so there are scratches and dents consistent with this purpose. There is also a missing 1 1/2" chunk of wood on the top front of the mold right before the break. Please see last picture for a good view of the missing piece. This antique set of two shoe lasts and cobbler's stand is solid. Unpainted iron. The patent date was 1868, making these about 145 years old. The base is marked Townsend Rochester, which stands for the G.G. Townsend Co. of Rochester, New York, a manufacturer of iron tools in the mid 1800's. The lasts do not have sizes. The smaller appear's to be for a child. And measures 7" long. The larger, probably for a lady's shoe, is 8" in length. The cobbler's stand is 11" without a last in place. He was an amazing actor, musician and artist. He had left at his estate 100’s of his drawings that he did from 1937 until he passed away in 2011.
