For sale is a Vintage 1917 Weston Model 329 Polyphase WattMeter. This item is dated October 30. 1917, which you can see in the photo. This item for being almost 100 years old is in really good condition. There are some cosmetic flaws consistent with age. The leather strap/handle is broken on one side. The knobs are all intact except for one to my knowledge. This item comes with original user manual, and has the original certificate intact, showing the date. The wooden box latches and closes as it should and the wood itself has some scratches and scuffs but no major damage to the box itself. The meter could stand a light cleaning because there is some dust on it from storage, but overall what a beautiful piece. The pictures really give a better visual description. WESTON Model 440 GALVINOMETER
Old and working Weston Galvinometer. This insrrument is a very sensitive current sensing meter that wil measure direct current flow in either direction with a zero center scale. There are two shunt buttons on the instrument to increase sensivity when the cirrent is"microscopic. I don't havr the specs on it. The right hand button is broken but it still works. Needs a cap to make it easer to operate. The picture showing the terminals also shows a wire connected between the terminals to further shunt the meter to damp the movement swing. Moving the needle through balistic action generates a current and by shorting the teminals it shorts out the movement thus loading the"generator" and resisting the movement. This instrument is only being sold because I have to cut bacl and will likely be in assisted living in a couple of years. ... more83 now and getting up there. The call W2NH will keep going. Vintage Weston Electrical Instrument Corp. Newark. N.J. U.S.A. Microamperes D.C. Meter Gauge Model 301. I have no way to test this meter so it may or may not function correctly. The meter itself is a custom metal box with two knobs and switches. The switches and knobs have been indicated by handmade labels taped to the front. R. 588-306-A on the front and the number 89246 on the back. The Weston Thermo-Galvanometer includes the words Current Squared, Radio Frequency. Res= 4.5 I =115 M.A. Model 425 No. 13334 Neither have been tested and are sold asis. The glass on the General Radio one is a bit loose. This piece comes from a wide range of early test equipment assembled by a knowlegable collector.

Dimensions are 10.5" x 8.5" x 5.75" Wattmeter face itself is in great condition with no wear and tear. Comes with a Info Sheet which shows it came from the factory on April 16 1920.
