Hi. Clearing out some of my extra oxy-acetylene parts. Up for consideration is a Victor J27 torch body. This is probably an old wartime aircraft torch, And this was rebuilt by the local welding supply store. I'm not sure if they send it out or do it in house. The body was beadblasted and everything is very clean. The valves/knobs turn very smoothly as they should, And they hold the pressure when off. The threads are basically perfect. The only bummer is someone used some type of pliers to remove the center, And there are a couple chew mark right below the valve body. Not too bad though. This is a really nice piece to add to your set. I really should keep this but I have a great J28 setup that works great although it is heavier and longer. That is why I'm keeping the tips and cutting attachment! Great for light duty sheetmetal welding ... moreand brazing for long periods of time-super light! Hi Clearing out some of my extra oxy-acetylene torch pieces. Up for consideration is a war-time AIRCO 9100 torch with 2 STYLE 919 tips no 2& 3. This hasn't been used for a while now but should be in working condition. The knobs or valves turn freely with good resistance and hold pressure off. The tips are not plugged up and all the threads are in good shape. I added the cut hose nuts to keep the threads from getting banged up. This has some wear to the plating. This is a welding brazing oxygen acetylene set of different components. It has a Victor 100 Model mixer with 3 welding/brazing tips. Numbers 0, 2 and 4. It has a Smith mixer number 1, with an AC309 cutting tip. Also 4 different welding/brazing tips numbers A5, A7,A2 and a heating tip. The oxygen gauge is a Harris model 25-200. The acetylene gauge is a Victor model SR460-A. Also included is 10 foot of hose, some starting/ cleaning equipment, and an adapter for one of the gauges. Hi up for sale is a Genuine Meco midget torch(aircraft style torch) for welding. Brazing, heating. I had the regulator tested by a specialized shop and they said that while they are old style they are still safe and good to use. These small torches are great for sheet metal and light steel welding up to about 1/8 thickness. Very light and easy to operate. Really rare find! A 1920's BESCO model H micro-welding torch in very good condition. I have collected tools for a while now and I've never seen one of these. It appears to be for jewelry making. Or something similar. It is certainly intended for precision work. I tested for airflow through both tubes and valves, both worked. It was made by BESCO(Battery Equipment and Supply Company) sometime in the 1920's. It has a patent date of 9-21-20, so it was made sometime after that.
