Here at auction are 2 vintage carnival prizes. Gold and a silver colored metal horses. 4 3/4" tall 6 1/2" long. both show some wear gold one is missing the closure of the chain. silver one has cracks but very sturdy and solid. These 2 vintage trophies are just out of long time forgotten storage. Basement find at estate sale of an old farmhouse which had not been lived in for many years. These were found in a box with other various items dating early 1900 era. They look like silver or silver plated. They are tarnished however the bottoms are more of a clean shiny silver. Vintage Antique Silver Plate Golf Trophy Loving Cup 1928 Wallace Bros. 19 1/4"
For your consideration is this beautiful large silver plate golf trophy. Made by the Wallace Bros. Co. in Wallingford, Conn. V503. The trophy is exquisite, with the lady holding the wreath up and standing on a golf ball, this measures 5 1/2" tall. The trophy measures 19 1/4" tall by 9 1/2" wide at the handles. It sits on a black bakelite base that measures 7 1/2" diameter by 4 1/4" tall. The front of the trophy reads: Riverside Country Club, Presidents Trophy, Presented by Roy Beaman. The back of the trophy reads: Won by 19- E.L.S. Royster-28. This is a rare one of a kind vintage 1974 silver-plate and glass florist wine decanter trophy. it was awarded by the New Jersey State Florist Association.Morristown NJ It was from thew flower and garden show and the award is for the best use of herbaceous materials…1974 Morris county gardeners association. the wine decanter is made from thick glass with a very thick/large ball shaped stopper. the bottom half of the bottle is wrapped with a thick silver-plated metal which is hand engraved. the piece measures 11 1/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches wide. overall in good condition the base has some tiny hammer marks/ dings. Vintage Crescent Silver Plate Punch Bowl Grape Theme Engraved As Golf Trophy
This listing is for a fine vintage American silver plate punch bowl by Crescent Silverplate Mfg. Co. That has been engraved as follows: ELMWOOD C.C. CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP RUNNER UP 1975 JOHN TOPOL The punch bowl measures about 7 ½ inches tall(19 cm) and is about 11 ¾ inches(30 cm) in diameter at the top rim. There are a couple of fair sized dents to the base of the bowl. These could probably be hammered out by someone who knows what they are doing but currently cause the bowl to sit tilted and there is a bit of a wobble if you push the bowl. The punch bowl has a round stepped foot which supports the large bowl. The top rim of the punch bowl and around the foot there is a high relief grape. Leaf, and vine design. Hi Folks. This auction consist of a VINTAGE STERLING SILVER WATER PITCHER 1936 GOLF TROPHY. This unique trophy was presented by the TWIN CITY COUNTRY CLUB for the 1936 Championship won by Pete Tyree. This trophy was given by the CAROLINA GOLF ASSOCIATION. The trophy stands at 9 in. tall and 10 in. in length and about 5 in. wide. It weighs in at 1.9 lbs. which I do believe converts to about 27.7 troy ounces. This is marked MARY CHILTON by TOWLE on the bottom and also Sterling 6770. 8 Half Pints. I have only found one like item and some that are similar. I do welcome any helpful hints about a true value of this piece. For your consideration. We offer this fascinating silver plate footed nut bowl from E.G. Webster& Son, New York. Given as an athletic prize in 1917 by the Union Settlement Activities Council, this piece is a terrific artifact of the Union Settlement Association which was founded in 1895 to respond to the desperate conditions of immigrants struggling to make a new life in America. The engraving reads"Union Settlement A.C.Central Park H'dcp/Road Run 1917/4th Prize/Won By/Charles A. Hohl" A squirrel perches with acorn in hand amidst a grapevine pattern which encircles the rim of the bowl. In good condition for its age though most of the plate is gone. England in 1934, probably by the illustrious silversmith, J. B. Stagg at his Vyse Street workshops. It is circular in shape with delightful handles and is raised on a superb pedestal base. It is engraved RSYC Guillemard Challenge Cup 1935 Ella Dorothy II. It measures 2 1/8" in diameter. 3 3/8" across the handles and stands 2 3/4" tall. It is quite substantial- it weighs 35.6 grams- which is almost 1 1/4 troy oz. It is in very good condition for its age with much less than the usual surface scratching with NO dents or dings. NO distortion and, unusually, NO compression to the base and NO splits ... moreor repairs- A SUPERB YACHTING PIECE. This beautiful piece is hallmarked with JBS. Vintage hallmarked Silver 13cm Trophy Cup This beautiful Trophy cup is made from high gauge sterling silver(100 grams of silver alone) with a raised band around the middle and two ornate. Scrolled handles. It sits on a Bakelite or plastic base with green baize to the underside. The cup is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1938 with the maker’s mark of John Turton& Co. This piece is in lovely condition with no dents or noticeable scratches to the silver. The base is in very good order with no chips and the baize shows no signs of wear although there is one very small white spot stain to it. Please be aware that it is 76 years old so there will be tiny surface abrasions caused through use. This good vintage presentation trophy/cup is made by the venerable firm of silversmiths Roberts and Belk and carries their mark crisp and clear next to a crisp hallmark for Sheffield 1969. This good sterling silver cup is in the Georgian style and has stylised engraving on the top of the handle. The condition is good. Original and uninscribed, however there is a small mark about 5mm in length on the front of the cup it feels like a raised dent. Other than this the condition is fine and perfect. Superb Vintage Trophy Silver Plate Urn Silver on Copper B Rogers 7761
Available is a vintage trophy urn. It is just stunning. And makes a wonderful presentation. I find no damage other than some tarnish. There are tarnish spots on the bottom and tarnish on the inside. This polihes beautifully, with no worn silver spots. There are initials on front with the year 1959. The urn is silver on copper, marked B. Rogers 7761 on the bottom. The urn is stunning, and much nicer than other champagne bucket style urns I have seen. It is no lightweight, weighing in at about 5 pounds! It is sturdy! Note the beautiful handles and detailed edge. This is just at the point where it could use a polish. UNIQUE Vintage GOLF DEVIL Silver cup 1938 Sheffield trophy award prize goblet
Offered here is a rather unique silver golf trophy- I have done an extensive research but could not locate a similar piece anywhere. A silver cup with removable lid. Depicting a Devil on top of the lid, holding a golf club, with a golf bag with clubs at his feet. The handles are standing lions. VERY decorative and attractive. Judging by the hallmarks(photos below) manufactured in Sheffield. 1938. The hallmarks are present on both the cup and the lid. The inside of the cup is gold-plated. A smaller item- stands 8 inches tall. Is 3 3/4 inches wide at its widest point. Weighs just under 400 grams(I don't have precise scales to provide the exact weight but it's very close to 400g) Excellent condition: no chips or dents. Could use a bit of cleaning and polishing. 4 silverplate mint julep cups by International Silver from EG Webster& Sons. They all have scratches and dings on the outside. One has bubbling on the inside. Three are engraved and one is not. The cup without the engraving is the one bubbling on the inside. One of the cups shows loss of silverplate where a sticker once was. Each cup stands approx 4.5" tall by 3.5" wide across the top rim.

I believe the piece to be made by Leonard but do not see any markings. The piece measures 5.5" by 3.5" in diameter at the lip of the cup. The plate is in exceptional condition with very little signs of use and no dings. Dents or heavy scratches. It weighs 8.95 ounces or 255 grams. The piece is engraved"E.W.S.
