jackson 648R rebuilt and calibrated vacuum tube tester pristine condition IMO
I have a Jackson 648R cleaned. Rebuilt and calibrated to"within" spec of the plate current(V-Z) Currents are:V=5MA, W=16.4MA, X=1.37MA, Y=2.62MA and Z is 9.4MA at control of 50% half scale. This is as close as I can get it. If you have ever rebuilt one of these you would know why I state that. All resistors that needed replaced are new within specs. The.1 MFD cap is new. All pots cleaned all contacts cleaned. At some point someone scratched in the test letters as the picture shows. I don't know why but they did. As you may find in a lot of tube testers are the issues with high voltages at the heater. This tester is"IMO" within the ranges needed to test tubes at the proper heater voltage for accurate readings. Roll chart functions flawlessly. Does include original supplemental tube data and owners manual. The case shows ... morea little wear but not bad at all for its age. One used RCA USA 6MJ6 horizontal sweep tube. Dual side getter. Tube is actually manufactured by General Electric(see dots under tube number) Rust spot on cap was brushed away. Bright metal was treated with GalvaPrep to depos it zinc-phospha te coating. Date code is HZ. Sibley's RCA tube date chart stops at 1976 with year"F" So sometime after 1976. This tube may be new. The getter spots are dark and full. No box. So sold as used. This tube came in a buy from an electronics parts house that closed down in 2011. B&K 707 reading 106. Meter maximum is 120. No grid emission. Gas, or shorts. 100 Megohm grid emission test. Tube is allowed to get hot and then lightly tapped to check for mechanical shorts. Any tube that shows a momentary short that never reappears is not sold. B&K707 information: Signal and bias voltages are checked ... morefrequently. For those who may be curious. The#55 line regulation bulbs have been soldered into the circuit to bypass the bulb sockets. The sockets are totally bypassed. The bulbs are not in the sockets. Seco Vacuum Tube Tester Model 107 Nice!
Here's a nice working Seco Vacuum tube tester. It's model 107. I took a tube out of a 1930's radio and plugged the tube into the appropriate slot. A little light came on at the top of the tube and when pressing the red button for tester. The meter went up to about the? range. That's about all I know about these units. The vinyl coated case measures 13 1/4" x 9" x 5 3/4" deep. Cosmetically. The outside of the case does not look that great, but sturdy and no major damage. The tester comes with it's original flip chart. This model also has an extra 3-slot tester thats wired into the case. Two of the little black handles are missing on the Circuit Selector and Special Types settings. This is a very heavy unit weighing 11 Lbs. so I'll be using calculated shipping. Vintage HICKOK MODEL 546 Vacuum Radio Audio Tube Tester NO RESERVE!
Vintage test equipment in used condition. Has missing/wrong screws on face plate. There is some electrical tape around the power cord where it goes through the plaate. The carrying case shows signs of wear but overall very good condition. The paper reel is intact with no tears and the thumb dial works smoothly. Testing: Unit powers up. The line adjust works. Tested a few known good and bad tubes on the 9-pin socket only. It"passed" the good tubes and"failed" the bad ones so it appears to be somewhat functional. Instrument is not/has not been cailbrated so accuracy is not known. That is the extent of the testing that was done. No manuals. Test leads, socket adapters etc included. The plastic rim around the top cap is broken- it will still plug on and make connection fine. There is some damage where the electrical cord(that plugs into the wall) comes out of the testing unit, the rubbery coating around that is loose. This unit measures 11" x 8.5" and is 4.5" deep(when all closed up) The case shows wear. The snap closure works perfect and keeps the unit secure. Precision Model 912 Tube Tester This is an old Tube Tester that I believe was first manufactured in the late 1940’s by the Precision Apparatus Co. Elmhurst. New York. The case is in good physical condition with just the normal scuffs and scrapes for a 60 year old unit. When the unit is powered on. The meter moves from the red zone to the yellow zone(See pictures) but that is all I can tell about the working condition of the unit. Tektronixs type 516 oscilloscope industrial vacuum tv tube steampunk machine

Hickok Vacuum Tube Tester Meter model AC510x
I am not sure which of the Hickok's this meter is applicable for. This meter has model number AC510x labeled on the lower left corner. I applied light voltage to the meter to ensure the needle responds. I assume it is working properly. Being sold as-is. Meter measures 5 1/4wide by 5 3/16ths tall. Depth above surface is 7/8ths. Studs are 3/4 long
