This piece is a fine example of antique vaseline glass. It is referred to as"Canary Yellow" And it is vibrant. The vital statistics are as follows: a tad over 3-1/2" long. A tad over 1-1/2" wide at the widest top, the tapered part that fits the bottle is 1" long, x 1" at the widest top tapering to 3/4" at the bottom. There is a 1" around clear glass round"core" through the top that goes about 1/2" down. This, and the beautiful styling make this a very unique piece. Noflexar 35mm f/3.5 Nikon F mount lens & 52mm Andrea-U filter for UV photography
Up for bid is a used in good condition Novoflex Noflexar 35mm f/3.5 manual focus lens modified to Nikon F mount. This little gem has been identified as one of the very few affordable bench mark lenses for UV photography. Glass is clean with no scratch. No fungus, minor internal dust. Check pictures for cosmetic details. I was told that this lens was modified by the world famous UV guru, Dr. Klaus Schmitt. It comes bundled with a special UV bandpass filter, the 52mm Andrea U filter. This filter is one of the best UV band pass filters out there that does not leak in IR. If paired with a capable full spectrum DSLR body such as the Fuji Is pro, you can dive into the fantastic new realm of the invisible world toward the opposite extreme than the more familiar infrared regime.
