The product and components have been partially tested. The unit was plugged in and charged- We were able to power on the unit and it held a charge with the battery that was installed. We then tested the basic functionality of the unit without any attachments- We were able to get a varying decibel reading next to an electric pump(the photographs show the variation when the unit was moved farther away from the pump) With the headphones installed. We could also hear a variance in the loudness. We then tried using the flexible probe next to the pump- There was no change in the decibel reading on the unit. We are unsure if we are testing the flexible unit properly, or if the unit is configured properly. ... moreFinally, we plugged in the contact probe, and were able to get a reading on the scale underneath the numeric readout- No numeric data was displayed when the contact probe was plugged in(again, we are unsure if this is configured properly) We also heard the internal workings of the pump when the contact probe was applied. No further testing was conducted on the unit. The unit and the accessories are used and in good condition- There is writing on the rubber case that the detector is in. As well as writing on every face of the carrying case. Everything is used and has wear from normal use.
