The tachometer appears to be in good condition with only some paint loss on the outside and some corrosion on the extension rod. Spun the tachometer with the rubber wheel drive and the tachometer was functional. Velvet lining of the case is in good condition, no rips or tears, needs a good brushing. Outside of the case has soiling and numerous scrapes and wear marks, solid corners.

General Radio Type 1602-B UHF Admittance Meter
You are viewing one lightly used General Radio Type 1602-B UHF Admittance Meter Used to measure FM and TV antennas and transmission lines. The 1602-B is for the measurement of admittance and impedance over a wide frequency range. As a null instrument it can be used to measure the conductance and susceptance of an unknown circuit directly. It can also be used as a comparator to indicate equality of one admittance to another or degree of departure of one from the other. As a direct indicating device it can be used to determine the magnitude of the reflection coefficient on a 50 ohm coaxial line or the magnitude of an unknown impedance for ratios of output voltages read on a meter. It uses three coaxial lines at right angles. One terminated by the unknown admittance and the other two terminated by a pure resistance and a pure rectance. Sampling ... moreloops in the three lines are connected in parallel, and when the loops are adjusted to produce a null the parameters of the unknown are displayed. It is direct reading from 40 MHz to 1.5 GHz, and can be extended to 20 MHz with a correction. This is a nice clean vintage unit. Movements are smooth. Need this item fast?
