Vintage MIJ Guyatone Tube Amp. Sounds like a Princeton. Bought it cheep because the speaker was blown. And then got the $210 shipping charge. Had a Weber Alnico with only a couple hours on it. Still breaking in. Listing to sell at quite a loss. The reason you don't find these in the states is because of the fee to ship. The speaker breaks up some at higher volumes. Pretty clear sounding amp. Again very Fenderesqe. Volume pot scratchy No foot switch for the tremolo. So. This amp is built around two very nice transformers. The power transformer is a nice. Stout Stancor. The output transformer is also very nice and offers both 4 ohm and 8 ohms taps. I currently have it set up for 8 ohms but if the winning bidder would prefer 4 ohms I will gladly change it for them. The amp was built with all new high-quality caps and resistors. The coupling caps are very nice Orange Drops. And they have this amp sounding sweet and buttery smooth. This amp is solid state rectified for greater reliability. Fabulous in Blackface Fender amps. We tried this 7025 in a 66 Vibrolux reverb 2x10 combo and the tones were all there. Light and shimmering or really aggressive. It's all good.

The 60 Watt power amp is earliest solid state and fitted with a soft clipper incl. indicator on the front panel. In other words cranking the master volume sounds cool with this amp.
