Here is a nice vintage Knight Kit KG-600C Tube Tester. Made by Allied Radio Corp of Chicago Illinois USA made back in 1969. The Tester was found with the original assembly manual and tube chart, is in used very good condition with some wear as pictured, and 1 of the knobs does not tightened up on the shaft and the rubber on the clip for the connecting the top metal of the tube has dried out. The tube tester was plugged in and lights up, meter adjusts, all controls appear to work, the tube chart spins properly and I tested a few tubes and the tester appears to work, but may need to be adjusted. The Case shows some wear with the handle is broken as pictured, is missing 2 feet, but both latches work properly. The major functions of this 3M cable tester are fault location and repair verification on twisted-pair. Quad, and coaxial cable. Instron 1122 Tensile Tester with Control Unit, Load Cell, and Instruction Manual
What you see in the pictures is what you're bidding on. An Instron 1122 load frame with control unit. Load cell, and instruction manual. This item is sold as is. The 1122 load frame itself powers up. But when connected to the control unit it throws an overload error. I*think* this may be due to the load cell, which I believe is a 2 lb cell. I un-powered the unit and manually rotated the pulleys that control the crosshead- these pulleys moved freely and the crosshead moved up and down the tower screws smoothly, so I don't believe anything is bound up or broken. The control unit includes the load cycling unit. The crosshead control unit, the load cell amplifier, and the chart drive. The chart does not move, but the control unit powers up and all the buttons I tried appeared to work. An instruction manual is also included. Welcome-up for bids is a Series 920 Electronamic tube tester. Made by the Precision Apparatus Company in New York. Circa 1940 This tube tester has NOT been tested. Mostly because of the frayed electric cord. I have no reason to believe it will not work. Purchased from an estate auction from a 60yr old that suddenly passed away. He had 100's of these types of things(Ohm meters, volt meters, tube testers, etc) Look carefully at the pictures. As mentioned. The cord is frayed. It is missing one of the little rubber"feet-stoppers" on the back edge of the lid. It is also missing the handle. The case is a poor/fair condition, considering its age. The scroll moves freely and all the knobs turn easily. Box measures about 13x13x6 and weighs a good 15lbs. Most economically way to ship this would be FedEX. Hello and welcome to my auction! I'm still helping my mom empty out my grandmother's apartment. So I'll be listing several new attic finds over the next few weeks. Please keep in mind that these things have all been in storage for a number of years and the packages/items are dirty/dusty and musty smelling. All items have been stored indoors away from light and moisture. You are looking at a Lafayette Tube Tester with Original Carrying Case and Instruction Manual. There are some small scuffs/scratches on the plastic window that covers the reader portion and a deep surface scratch about an inch long near the 7 Pin Aligner; there is some sticker residue that can be easily removed with the proper cleaning solution; the plug and cord appear to be in good order; the case closes securely but has some chipping at the corners. Which can ... morebe seen in the photos. When I plugged this in it immediately started to hum and the needle jumped. But it is being sold AS-IS and I can make no guarantee as to whether or not it is in proper working order. I have included several photos and they should be considered as part of the description.
